School Security Officer – Part-Time – $17.00–$18/hr

Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: 2 - 4 school days per week | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Additional Hours: After-school and weekend events available

US Security Care is hiring reliable and professional School Security Officers to help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors at a school in Boyertown, PA.

Security experience is helpful, but we're also interested in candidates with customer service, military, law enforcement, education, or other public-facing experience.

What We Offer

• ACT 67 (NASRO) certification preferred, but not required; Training opportunities may be available through Security Care

Responsibilities

As a School Security Officer, you will:

• Monitor school entrances, exits, hallways, and designated areas
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems
• Assist with access control and identification procedures
• Help protect school property and facilities
• Observe and report suspicious, unusual, or unsafe activity
• Respond appropriately to safety and security concerns
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and management
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports
• Assist with after-school activities and special events
• Follow site-specific procedures, company policies, and applicable laws

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2 years exp. in Security
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable cell phone and email access
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to follow instructions and site-specific procedures
• Professional appearance and conduct

Preferred:

• 2 years working in school security experience
• ACT 67 (NASRO) certification
• CPR/First Aid certification

No ACT 67 certification? That's okay. Certification is preferred, but training may be available through Security Care.
