Now Hiring: School Police Officer (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $23.15–$26.75/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:15 AM – 4:15 PM | Work 2 to 4 days per week

Job Summary:

US Security Care is seeking experienced, professional School Police Officers (SPOs) to patrol school facilities and grounds, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for students and staff. Officers may be assigned to a fixed post or mobile patrol and must be prepared to operate in both controlled and unpredictable conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol school property to prevent disruptions, unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.

• Work assigned or rotating shifts.

• Perform duties in uniform or plainclothes, depending on the assignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license

• Act 235 PA Lethal Weapons Certification

• Prior experience as a Municipal, State, Federal, or Military Police Officer (MP or MA), or in Corrections

• Weapons qualification

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

• High school diploma or GED

• Knowledge of Pennsylvania laws and school district policies

• Minimum 4 years of experience in police, military, or corrections roles

• Proficient with basic office equipment

• Strong organizational skills

• Current clearances as required by PA law:

  • Act 34 (Criminal History)

  • Act 151 (Child Abuse)

  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance

  • Any additional state-mandated clearances
