Armed Security Officer

Philadelphia Area | Part-Time | $22–$30/Hour

US Security Care is seeking dependable, professional Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Philadelphia area.

We offer consistent part-time opportunities with a variety of shifts, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals looking for dependable hours and competitive pay.

Pay Rate: $22–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence at assigned client locations.
• Patrol assigned premises regularly to deter and identify security concerns.
• Exercise sound judgment and discretion regarding the use of your firearm, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, training, and company policy.
• Protect clients, personnel, property, and assigned locations from harassment, physical attack, vandalism, theft, and other unauthorized activity.
• Perform site-specific security duties in accordance with client requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
• Accurately document and submit incident reports to the US Security Care Operations Team.
• Respond professionally and appropriately to security incidents and other situations requiring officer intervention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of armed security experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 certification/license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain calm under pressure, and make responsible decisions.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
